Founded in 1998 by André Grüneboom and based in Weilerswist near Cologne, edoc solutions ag is one of Germany's leading specialists for software solutions and services relating to digital Enterprise Content Management (ECM).

2023
In the spring of 2023, edoc is launching a new brand identity - edoc becomes colorful: With the creation of the new edoc brand compass and a fresh, new website appearance, the foundation for further building the edoc brand is laid. This strengthens edoc's positioning in the market and enhances the perception as a product manufacturer. The new brand promise reflects edoc as a reliable partner for investments today and in the future.

2022
In early 2022, the executive team of edoc is being expanded by one member: Christian Baur will be appointed to the board. It is also a year of awards. edoc is named the Most Successful d.velop Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive time and received the xSuite Silver Partner Award in Hamburg.
edoc is also successful as an employer, once again being recognized as a top employer on kununu.

2020
From April 1, 2020, edoc takes over the d.3ecm division of Portal Systems AG. Through this expansion, edoc consolidates its market position as the largest and most successful partner of the renowned ECM manufacturer d.velop AG in Gescher. As part of the agreement, edoc will look after the entire customer base of the d.3ecm division of Portal Systems and take over the existing contracts for the use and support of the d.velop software from Portal Systems.
At the same time, edoc is also establishing a location in Hamburg. This allows customers to conyinue using the familiar business address of Fischertwiete 1/Chilehaus B.

2019
On January 1, 2019, edoc adds Microsoft Content Services to its portfolio as a supplementary platform. With the new edoc Microsoft Content Services team made up of experienced SharePoint specialists, edoc is laying the foundations for further development in cloud-based Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Enterprise Information Management (EIM).
The new edoc team combines extensive knowledge of the Microsoft products Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Delve and Teams. These Microsoft apps, combined with the Office 365 Security & Compliance Center and established edoc solutions such as digital incoming invoice processing, digital personnel dossiers or digital contract management, offer customers a comprehensive and holistic cloud-based ECM system.
The takeover of the WELCOME software and its associated customer base and employees allows targeted pursuit of the cloud business and a move towards product manufacturing. EnterSmart GmbH, which took over the established WELCOME business on February 1, 2019 and holds 51% of the edoc shares, develops and sells cloud-based solutions for digital visitor, event, room and truck management. In addition, EnterSmart GmbH sells cloud-based edoc products such as the meeting information management system MEETWORK. They have no direct connection to ECM, but aim to establish edoc more firmly as a product manufacturer of cutting-edge cloud solutions. Their operation is managed by our edoc Cloud Operations team

edoc takes over selected customers of dk5 GmbH & Co. KG Ismaning and at the same time acquires all rights to the web-based workflow and portal products of the wApp.Manager (wApp.Server, wApp.Soft and wApp.Page). The company strengthens its strategic position as a leading provider and solution partner for ERP-integrated document and information processes based on the latest web technologies with the ability to simultaneously provide corresponding digital processes in the cloud.

2016
100% of the shares in AXNAV Solution AG are acquired and the company becomes AXNAV Solution GmbH. As a result of the takeover, edoc acquires the rights to the archive interface of Microsoft Dynamics® NAV "nav archivelink®."
The focus on channel sales and partner management intensifies. -
2015
edoc solutions erp gmbh takes over the operation of Berke GmbH Munich and thus further increases the number of d.3ecm customer installations to be managed by edoc. Following the takeover, the strategic business unit Infor is created within the edoc group. From its new location in Munich, edoc serves the south of Germany as well as customers in Austria and Switzerland.
edoc takes over the d.3ecm customers and employees of Variatec AG and acquires the software rights to the d.3ecm interface to SAP Business One.
edoc and d.velop sign a 10-year contract for a strategic partnership in the ECM market, thereby consolidating a successful partnership that has been in place since 2002.

The development of the Microsoft Dynamics® AX ECM package begins. At the same time, the first product version of the neutral archive interface "ax archivelink®" appears on the market, the ECM integration in Microsoft Dynamics® AX. The first customer projects are successfully implemented.

edoc has successfully established itself in the ECM growth market. With founder André Grüneboom still at the helm, the company is the embodiement of continuity in corporate management.

The development of the SAP ECM sector begins. At the same time, edoc solutions erp gmbh based in Stuttgart is founded.
